New Device

Londons New Device are kicking off 2016 with an incredible new EP “Devils on the Run” and a 6-date tour of the UK next month.

Lead single “Hollywood Radio” premiered on Scuzz TV last week. You can see the video here

Since the release of their debut album “Takin’ Over” in 2009, New Device have remained a band that have refused to compromise on their creative vision. Gaining huge acclaim from their debut singles “Takin’ Over” and “In The Fading Light”, many wondered where the band would take their music from there? The answer came in 2013 in the form of their second album “Here We Stand”. Taking the next step in their evolution, retaining the feel good vibe they were known for, the band now had a darker, more mature and harder edge than ever. After a tempestuous three years of touring and writing, it was apparent that the boys were now men and meant business like never before.

Hitting TV and radio with their singles Save Your Life and Here We Stand, New Device were clearly back with force.

At the end of 2014, one question remained – “what now?”

Having played every major festival in the UK and touring countless dates over the past 5 years, the ambitious rock band have set themselves new challenges in their creativity. Plans were made and executed to release 4 interlinked records over the next 12 months.
First on the agenda was a live album.

New Device

Celebrating the 5 year anniversary of the release of their debut album Takin Over the band played the entire record from top to bottom at London’s Borderline and recorded the entire magical event. The beautifully documented show has aptly been titled “Takin Over London”.

Not resting for a moment, New Device set about writing and recording their next 2 EP releases. The first of these is a stunning 6 track collection named “Devils On The Run”. It is clear that the band have done it again. Not wanting to stagnate, they have grown and pushed their hard rock musical boundaries with a record few will be able to turn away from! The raw energy and emotion New Device effortlessly deliver into their sound has risen to new heights. With dramatic tension and drops more powerful than before, the band explore their hard rock and metal influences to spectacular effect in this powerful masterpiece!

This work will stun and ignite hardcore New Device fans and bring to the fold a whole new wave of music lovers who respect and believe in the same thing as the band- which is creating music which blows your mind and grabs you by your heart.
