IMMENSE Air, the UKís first ever AEROBAR, is landing on Bournemouth Beach to take its place beside the seaside ahead of Bournemouth Air Festival. The unique bar and restaurant based around a decommissioned ATR-42 aeroplane welcomes its first passengers aboard on Friday 18 August with the first in a series of musical flights of fancy in the run up to the Air Festival itself at the end of the month.

First up is the world’s most authentic Queen tribute band, Flash. As well as the carefully recreated costumes, what sets the show apart is the bandís replica equipment to create the perfect Queen sound. Tickets are just £5 in advance or £10 on the gate, with a dinner and show experience available at £15. “Immense Air is taking music, food and entertainment in Bournemouth to new heights,î says flight director Ben Dyas.îThis is something completely new and weíre certain it will become one of the biggest attractions the town has seen as we build up to the amazing Bournemouth Air Festival.”

Saturday night sees the debut of the free entry all-day and night AeroBeats Beach Club as top DJs recreate Ibiza’s Cafe Del Mar vibe with chilled out house sounds matched by world foods and some fabulous cocktails. Itís also free on Sunday for the Payn On a Plane acoustic session with top singer songwriter Chris Payn who gives way to the Monday Madness promise of half price wings and Prosecco and Cocktail Club Tuesday with its special 2-4-1 offers at the mix bar.
