Live & Unheard

featuring Capulus, Inner City Smugglers and Charlie Cole

The local talent supporting “Live & Unheard” returns to the Lighthouse on Wednesday 4th September at 8pm in the Sherling Studio for a new season after short hiatus in August. This month once again Matt Black and his team of minions have worked hard to put together an exciting eclectic line up to thrill and entertain. Featuring:

Capulus
Capulus is a hard rock band with heavy futuristic and Sci-fi themes of a dystopian alternate reality. Their influences span from the classic rock bands of the 70’s through to a heavy metal, alternative sound with progressive undertones. Their use of visual effects is definitely something different for the audience and this is sure to be a set that offers you the chance to enjoy an alternative performance to your average rock band.

Charlie Cole
Charlie grew up North of London on a healthy diet of Rock and Grunge. She started songwriting at an early age and taught herself guitar. Her biggest influences shaping her rock n roll heart are Jimi Hendrix, The Stone Roses, Pearl Jam and Sheryl Crow. Her debut album “Significant” was released in January this year and recently featured on BBC Music Introducing, her debut single “Stand Up And Be Counted” caught the attention of Country and Rock fans worldwide who love her gritty flavour, pinned as “British Rock meets the Country heart of songwriting”. Charlie is endorsed by award-winning U.K. guitar builders FAITH and plays a Venus Blood Moon alongside her Nashville Telecaster. She has had the joy of working with some of our best of British slide guitarists on this EP – both Sarge Frampton and Chris Eaton feature and she is sure to open this show with a bang.
