O2 Academy, Bournemouth

For the second year running Lostprophets rock Bournemouth’s O2 Academy as they did last year with support from The Blackout. So it’s a year on, lostprophets are back but this time with no album or single to promote. Not much advertising has gone into promoting this show…which seems odd for such a big band, but doesn’t seem to matter. They have such a large, loyal fan base that if the ‘prophets come to town, so will the fans. Tonight was no exception. (insert obscure Wayne’s World 2 reference here)

Sixpenny Handley

The final day. There was a very relaxed mellow atmosphere, possibly from too much revelry the night before? As the predominant lunchtime tunes echoed out across the people slowly mingled between the stalls and music tents, with more smiles than apparent hangovers.

Sixpenny Handley

So, Saturday at the Endorse it in Dorset Festival. This being my first time I immediately get lost (twice) en route! Eventually I arrive,a good two hours after it starts. My first ‘gig’ of the day is watching Los Albertos playing their brand of Ska. It’s early still & there’s not many people here Nevertheless, they carry on undaunted getting generous applause.
