Dorset Rock outfit NÆMA; who unusually feature with a Pop Singer, Alt/Rock Guitarist, Funk Bassist and Metal Drummer have just released their new single “One Shot”. The track is taken from their debut EP, which is due to be released in early 2026. The quartet have already put out three boldly created tracks “Void”, “Calling Out” & “Blend In”.
As you would expect from a band that has musicians with such diverse backgrounds, the track takes from all of their influences and backgrounds and puts them into a big blender (sometimes called a practice room)! Guitarist Tom explains “from start to finish, this is one of our most organically written songs we have released to date; with ideas being bounced back and forth in one of our sessions at Blueline Studios in Bournemouth, resulting in the skeleton of the track coming together in about 10 minutes.

The track was recorded at The Ranch Production House with innovative producer/engineer Matt Janke at the helm of the recording/mixing sections. The rest of the creative processes were brought together in the band members own homes in Bournemouth and Poole. They used all that they had learnt from our previous three singles and brought everything to the three day session they had at The Ranch. The track has already been taken up by BBC Introducing on Radio Solent and bestowed their listeners with the first play of this momentous number.
The track itself shows Tia getting her Beyoncé persona on, with some really powerfully delivered sassy vocals, backed by some really unique instrumentation. The thoroughly danceable rhythms produced by the dynamic synchronization of Joey and Ethan are backed by the nimble fingered Tom’s soaring guitar riffs. The whole creation is an assault on the senses, bringing a whole new experience in genre-blending with a host of crossover styles to enjoy. Mash-ups have been tried countless of times in music before with lots of artists wanting to push the envelope to create something new and unique. 9 times out of 10 it does not work, however when you have four musicians of this calibre coming together, they definitely have some enchantingly diversity.
