Bournemouth band, The Frequency, are to play a headline gig The Winchester on 15th April in support of the release of their brand new 3 track EP ‘High Society’. This talented four piece have been playing a few quiet warm up gigs to get themselves ready for the launch including a gig at the Joiners in Southampton supporting The Crookes and another at Champions in Bournemouth with Jam Tribute band ‘Total Jam’.

The band also performed stripped down intimate acoustic show at The Ship in Christchurch, which saw them playing some re worked covers of their favourite artists such The Beatles, The Kinks and The Foo Fighters along with a few of their own numbers. They would nestle in your record collection somewhere between The Stereophonics, Ocean Colour Scene and The Who, although original sounding their influences are quite apparent, as good as their EP is seeing them perform live is the best way to appreciate just how good this new band are, the vocals and guitar work are something really special, I am sure we will see support for them just grow and grow in the next few months.
