Interview with Circus 66 ahead of Loverocks 2019.

Now in its third year, Loverocks Festival, returns to Ferndown on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June. This year the Loverocks lineup will include some of the best emerging rock and metal bands plus some top cover bands.
Ahead of the festival, we caught up with Annabelle Zaychenko, Lead Singer of funk and blues-infused rock band, Circus 66

How do you feel about playing Loverocks?
We are very excited to share the stage with many kickass bands and rock out at such a brilliant festival.

Do you have a pre-show ritual?
Not really, we just enjoy having a pint before the gig to prep ourselves before the stage and chill out. We know – so rock and roll!

What bands would your dream line-up include?
Guns N Roses, The Pretty Reckless and Audioslave.

What’s your favourite memory on stage?
The time our drummer fell off the stage twice, within the same set in the same song. The stage had a gap behind him and he lost his balance which was rather funny and theatrical.

Describe your sound for people who might not have heard of you:
Hard rock with southern rock blues and funk thrown in.

What got you into music?
All of us in the band have personal reasons as to what got us into music in the first place, but one thing we have in common is that we all have the passion and love for this art.

Which band would you most like to collaborate with?
SKAM, the dust coda and Samarkind.
