News: Black Kat Boppers Release New Track “Billy Billy”

Hot Boppin, Groovin’ 4 piece group playing Rockin, Roots Music with a Guitar, Double Bass & Stand Up Drums Black Kat Boppers who hail from down on the South Coast in Southampton and are 4 fellas who love to play hard boppin’, jump up, rockin’ blues, dance music. They are celebrating their 10 year anniversary, a 10 years that have seen them making waves from London to Paris to New York to Tokyo, it is also their time to rise out of the flames of COVID and get back to the important business of Rockin!
The band kicks things off with the release of the first of two new videos, a new belter called ‘Billy Billy’ which will be followed up with “Black Kat Boppin’ Atcha” which features some extra Boppers to the line-up, perhaps a hint of things to come. Their live shows kick off on May 29th at Hootenanny in Brixton followed by a show at Thekla in Bristol June 21st then on July 3rd a guest slot at Gaz’s Rockin Blues 41st anniversary’s show with The Trojans and Winston Francis. The band have been working on new songs for a new album that should land sometime this year. They head to the USA in September to perform at the New England Shake-Up plus a number club dates on the east coast, there are also plans to record whilst there for a U.S record release.
