South Coast quartet Mad Simple have once again taken up the mantle and been into Ranch Productions in Southampton with the mightily experienced Daly George at the helm. The output of these sessions will see three new singles released this year, the first of these out this month is a track called “No Reality”.
Frontman Craig Barker gives some background on the track “In an upside down topsy turvy mad old world, some might say dreaming of living in parallel universe, is where we ought to be. Inspired by a chance encounter with a doorstep caller; who promised the earth but delivered very little, No Reality was born”.
The track follows on from the great work and progress that the band have carved out with their combined creative abilities. It’s a catchy tune from the off with effective toe-tapping rhythms and ever present melodic guitars, coupled with Craig’s warm-sounding infectious vocal. Coming in at just 2 minutes and 29 seconds it’s an uplifting shot of radio friendly soft Rock that shows the band firing on all cylinders and I’m sure that the tune will be a live favourite, it’s such a great tune they should play it twice.
