Single: “New Norm” by NÆMA
Kicking off 2026 with purpose, South Coast genre-amalgamators NÆMA return with their new single “New Norm”. Darker in tone than previous releases, the track draws influence from the likes of Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, and Foo Fighters, alongside more diverse alternative electronic and trance artists.

From Tia’s powerfully soaring pop vocals to Joey’s passion-laced drumming — taking clear influence from the late The Rev (James Owen Sullivan) of Avenged Sevenfold — the band’s individual strengths are immediately apparent. These are complemented by Ethan Wilkinson’s dance-fuelled basslines and Tom’s skilful, explosive bursts of electric guitar.
It’s staggering how four such distinctive musicians came together so seamlessly; it feels as though fate itself placed them in the same room for a reason. “New Norm” has a wide-reaching appeal, offering plenty for both rockers and ravers alike. Infectious and inventive, the track showcases divergent creativity while highlighting each member’s significant skill set.
The single forms part of an upcoming EP due later this year, and if today’s tough music industry has any sense, it will give this modest four-piece the break they deserve. Their music demands a wider audience — and much bigger stages.
