News: Celebrate The Legacy Of Mega City Four

And Raise Funds For Forward 4 Wiz Trust

There are millions of bands and artists out there, but only a few can truly leave a mark on you forever. Farnborough’s Mega City Four are one of those. Between 1987-1996 they released 14 singles/EPs plus 8 albums and toured the world constantly in those 9 years. They had amazing pop-punk-rock anthems and “almost” made it into the big time. Mega City Four’s contemporaries include the Manic Street Preachers, Carter USM, Senseless Things and Neds Atomic Dustbin all of which they gave a selfless “leg up” to.

The Forward 4 Wiz trust was set up in April 2007 in memory of Wiz’s inspirational approach to music and to life and supports music at grassroots level by way of mentoring, advising and assisting aspiring musicians to drive forward creativity and strengthen community.

on 30th May, the event has an amazing line-up featuring:
