Released today, 27th September, Yorkshire Punks Eat Defeat release their album “Challenges”. Kicking off with “Self Help…” which has an intro right out of the Blink 182 songbook and has a hard-hitting fast paced tempo. There’s elements of Sum41 also – I’m guessing a large influence here. More personal lyrics abound the entire song and […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
When a band’s biography mentions sharing the stage with the likes of Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, A Loss For Words and Less Than Jake as well as working on their new EP with outstanding producer Romesh Dodangoda (The Blackout, Kids In Glass Houses, Lostprophets) you instantly feel excited.

If like me you’re also suffering from post Summer depression, then may I introduce you to Kyoto Drive, a four piece, Birmingham based pop rock outfit who personify the warm Summer emotions we crave. This band have recently hit heavy expectations for their new mini album “The Approach” following UK and European tours in recent […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Recently a magazine based in the New Forest called “Park Culture” started up and was on the lookout for metal bands to play shows in the area. Circle of Reason, a four piece alternative metal outfit from the area were one of the few bands to put their name forward, highlighting a clear drought of […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Over 30 years since their first release, and being the self-proclaimed only true purveyors of pure Psychobilly The Meteors release their latest opus, “Doing The Lord’s Work”. This 16 track heavyweight weighs in at just over an hour, so no doubt has to be value for money.
