O2 Academy, Bournemouth

Last October an rather adventurous project called “Bandalism” was started by local promotors “Whitehall Events” which put together a line up of eight local bands to appear at the Bournemouth O2 Academy, the evening was a roaring success with bands such as Fearne, The Frequency, Constellation, Brothers Grimmer, Empire Affair, Sirpico, New Royalty and One Dead Ninja putting in some stunning performances on the large O2 stage, our review of the event can be found here.
The project has expanded and now includes an acoustic stage, and a Royal Box DJ Battle, if this all goes well we understand there are plans for another Bandalisam event in the winter. This years line up features some of the best locals bands/artists that Dorset has to offer including newly crowned Dorset Music Award winners Peace, Love & Gloves. The doors open at 7:30pm and the 1st act should be on around 8pm.
