Hope Fm Studio, Bournemouth

Bournemouth Rock band “Sansara” this month celebrate their 1st year together and in that short time this five piece band have already achieved so much. They have so far released a quality debut EP, performed at some top high profile gigs around the UK and have won a performance at “Hammerfest” beating many other bands from all around the UK.

The 1st of March is the release date for their 2nd EP “Let It Burn” which promises to eclipse the debut, this time it is a four track affair and features live favourites “Pacify”, “Remedy”, “Save Me” and title the track “Let It Burn”. The band have an EP release gig at the Anvil in Bournemouth on the 9th March with a bill of three top local support bands Western Sand, The Sabres and Dead By Dawn to kick off the evening in style, tickets are only £3.00 each, it is recommended to get their early as a sell out is expected in this intimate venue.

To promote the Ep “Sansara” were invited in to the Hope FM studio in Bournemouth for an interview and to play a few live tracks. The whole band squeezed into the studio taking themselves out of their usual comfort zone of their full electric set up to play songs from the EP with a stripped down acoustic set up. The results as you can see by the videos below were tremendous with the band giving an amazing performance thrilling myself, Tim and the 1000’s of listeners. The band’s guitarist Chris Holmes explained during the interview that he would be taking the rather usual step of getting fans names tattooed on his leg in the run up to the launch gig as a thank you for their support, a Facebook page has been set up to take pledges for this and Chris has promised to wear shorts on the night of the EP launch to show off the tattoo in all it’s glory!! A full production music video to accompany the title track is ablso being prepared and should also surface online around the thime of the EP release.
