Dorset singer/songwriter Susie Kimber builds on last year’s debut single “Don’t Wait” with a new release on 30th September entitled “Letting You Go”. The track was written by Susie and her co-writer Caroline B. It was put together at Hangover Hill Studios with Matt Black, who also plays some exquisite piano. Susie’s critically acclaimed debut single received national coverage through online media and radio, showcased on BBC and the local news outlets. Susie explains “the new offering tells a story of moving on from a relationship, and the realisation that it is time to start a new chapter. The song is written from my own personal experience and I wanted to create a song that every listener could relate to in their own lives”.

The track is emotive, from the heart, anthemic ballad featuring strong percussive elements and some wonderfully delivered piano accompaniment. The lyrics capture the heartbreaking pain of a break-up and the very essence of the hardest decision someone has to make in this position. Susie’s sublime vocal delivers the raw, honest lyrics powerfully and with plenty of emotion that you can tell is straight from the heart. This songstress after just two singles, shows she has some wondrous creativity and plenty of musical talent to bring these creations so vibrantly to life.
