As the temperature drops with Winter taking over from unusually warm Autumn and all hallows eve edges closer, the hotly tipped South Coast act Siobhán & The Sunset Haze have been in the studio conjuring up a new track, fittingly suitable for the season that is nearly upon us. With the help of notable Hampshire music producer Harrison Perks at his studios in Ringwood; Siobhán and her eclectic band of hand-picked musicians have created a gem of a track that has come together with a considerable amount of teamwork. The track is brought atmospherically to life in an amazingly colourful video, filmed at the historic Knowlton Church and Earthworks by Rachel DiBiaso at “Clash Creates”.

The spellbinding track entitled “Witching Hour” has plenty of musical layers to it with some clever instrumentation used to create the intended mystical vibe. It starts off smoulderingly with a teasing of what is to come, before “Siobhán” launches her captivating vocal and the musical accompaniment throws itself at your senses. The uilleann pipes gives the tune a real Celtic feel to it, with the other musical rudiments providing some special backing. It is certainly a tune to behold and one I’d be bold enough to say is one of the best tracks that this outfit have produced to date. With a few unpredictable challenges the band have not performed live in 2023 as much as they’d have hoped. They plan to put that right in 2024 with more live performances planned, along with hopefully more new music in the same vein as this impressive release.
