News: Preacher Stone Release new single/album “By The Horns”
Legendary USA southern rock ‘n rollers Preacher Stone are excited to release the full tilt, guitar slinging good-time rocking new single and video “By The Horns” being the title track of their highly acclaimed new album out now on CD/vinyl/digital download direct from the band.
The ever engaging and charismatic frontman Ronnie Riddle enthuses on the song, “It’s a kick ass ride of getting to the weekend after a hard week and letting rip with your friends, sinking a few and raising hell! The video takes you along with us for a day in life at a show with the fun we all have together, we just love playing for people and sharing that experience with as many folks as we can, it’s a helluva a good time for sure!”
Opening up on the overarching story behind the album, “As cliché as it is, we literally grabbed this one by the horns as we have been through a lot of personal turmoil, angst and grief alongside incredible highs over recent years. It was absolutely terrifying and exhilarating at the same time as we really got up close and personal with ourselves, sometimes doing that you may not like what you see but it’s important for growth. We’ve 100% unapologetically made the type of rock ‘n’ roll record that we grew up listening to in the 70’s, it rocks from the off and we rode it like we stole it.”

The 9 track collection was recorded at the legendary Gat3 Studios in Charlotte North Carolina, produced and engineered by the multiple Grammy winning Glenn Tabor (Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Kid Rock) and has garnered stellar reviews and new fans alike; “Quality southern rock, rich in quality” MetalTalk, “Defiant, proud, and unshakably authentic.” Maximum Volume Music, “A masterclass in how to craft a classic rock album” Rockposer, “A statement of perseverance, brotherhood, and the joy of playing music that matters, a must-listen” Jace Media, “Best album to date, no exception – and that’s no Bull.” Fabrications HQ
Kicking boots out of North Carolina USA, the band’s high-octane, 200 proof, rock-n-roll guitar-driven songs about the common man with heart-wrenching smoky bar frequenting tales and the swagger of their live performances have earned them a legion of faithful fans known as “The Congregation”. Having endeavoured through adversity in the past, alongside Ronnie the brotherhood of the band is steeped in musical heritage with Ben Robinson (guitar), Darrell Whitt (guitar) Jim Bolt (bass), and Wyatt (drums). Previously their song “Not Today” was featured on two seasons of the hit TV series Sons of Anarchy and lengthy tours include across the USA, UK and Europe sharing stages with legendary household names such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Deep Purple and more to rapturous acclaim from fans and critics alike.
January brings a much called for and in demand return across the pond with the By The Horns UK tour taking in 10 headline dates at some of their favourite venues and new ones to them. “The UK congregation has welcomed us amazingly before, this is our first headline tour there…so no pressure haha! We can’t wait to be back to play, see our friends, make new ones, take in the sites and more warm welcomes again as it’s winter this time!” The run includes returning to Scotland, their London debut at the world famous Cart And Horses, a pilgrimage to the birthplace of heavy metal Birmingham at Asylum 2 and an appearance at Planet Rock Winter’s End in Trecco Bay Wales all with last remaining tickets on sale now. Special guests for all shows (except Winter’s End) are UK rising hard contemporary rockers Revenant along with Eddie & The Wolves and Tom Davies & The Bluebirds on select dates.
Whilst Preacher Stone are rooted in southern rock history and authenticity they assure that they’re a band that continues to strike forward through all that life throws at them. “We really hope those that listen feel the love and emotion that went into this record and that’s going to come across live even more so. We play and write for our friends and fans first and foremost and while change is inevitable, we’ve got the same attitude that never will and you can count on that.”
