News: Black Water Redemption Release Debut Album
…and Premiere New Video “I Gave It All”
Southampton hard-rockers Black Water Redemption release of their self-titled debut album, today, 2nd October. To mark the announcement, the band premiere the official music video for their latest track, “I Gave It All”.
Rooted in the weight and attitude of classic hard rock, the Southampton-based four-piece delivers a modern, groove-driven sound focused on power, precision, and sharp musicianship built for the stage.
Formed from the foundations of their previous band, Western Sand, the band re-emerged in 2022 with a clear creative reset and a renewed direction. Years of heavy touring have seen the members share stages with international staples including Black Star Riders, Michael Schenker, Inglorious, and Skid Row, establishing the band as a highly disciplined live act. Following their 2023 debut EP, this album pushes into heavier, more refined territory.

“‘I Gave It All’ is a song about feeling trapped and done with a toxic relationship,” says guitarist Tyler Hains. “It captures that moment of realising I have done everything possible to make things work, and it is finally time to cut ties, knowing I gave it everything I had.”
Reflecting on the debut album, Tyler adds:
“We are buzzing for everyone to hear the record. The initial singles have gone down a storm, and what came out naturally was an album that hits heavy, digs into the blues, and even features a proper ballad. We wanted to pull in all of our core influences to create something that offers a bit of everything, while keeping things open for us as musicians. From hard riffs and massive choruses to classic rock screams, it is all in there.”
Formed from the foundations of their previous incarnation, Western Sand, the band remerged in 2022 under the name Black Water Redemption with a clear creative reset and
renewed direction. Years of touring experience underpin the project, having previously
supported established international acts including Black Star Riders, Michael Schenker,
Inglorious, and Skid Row across the UK.
Their debut EP, released in 2023, introduced a band confident in its identity—riff-led, hook driven, and uncompromising. Black Water Redemption quickly became known for performances defined by intensity, cohesion, and songs that consistently land harder live
than on record.
