One Of Rock Regeneration’s most featured rock bands Western Sand have been confirmed as the opening band on Black Star Riders UK and Irish tour in November and December.
The Black Star Riders are an all star super group featuring The Almighty’s Ricky Warwick on vocals with Thin Lizzy’s Scott Gorham on lead guitar with Marco Menoza on Bass. Western Sand have just released their self titled debut EP and it’s a scorcher. Four tracks of ballsy rock n’ roll with more swagger than Jagger and a cheeky glimpse of what this young band have to offer, demonstrating what fans can expect during the tour.
The band thoroughly deserve their place on the tour and they have been working hard with their stage craft steadily improving after quality support slots with the likes of Nazareth, Reckless Love, Jettblack, The Treatment, Heavens Basement and Voodoo Six. After the tour is over Western Sand will feature in a special “one off” Christmas bash at Mr. Kyps that also features other great Bournemouth rock acts Sansara, Saints Of Sin, and Walk The Night.
The tour kicks off with a hometown show in Bournemouth at the prestigious O2 Academy and the band are urging local fans get down to the venue early to show your support. The band will be on stage at around 7:30pm, to grab your self a ticket go online here.
