The 2017 O’Neills Sound of Summer competition was so successful, that they have decided to host it again but this year itís going to be bigger, better and louder than before! Live music is always great craic – and good for the soul, too. At O’Neill’s, live music is their passion and now they want to bring you the best in up-and-coming talent across the UK. The local heats are just around the corner and O’Neills are inviting all budding solo artists, duets and bands to take part. The local heats will take place at O’Neills in Bournemouth on the 10th and 17th May. To register go to the O’Neills website here to begin the battle. Please note that the registration closes on 30th April 2018.

There are fantastic prizes which include:

– £5,000 cash
– A slot at a leading UK Music Festival
– Studio Recording time

A UK Tour of O’Neill’s*

The successful candidates will be battling it out in local heats across the UK from 6th May to 9th June. Local winners will then take each other on in the regional heats between 12th July and 9th August, with the final acts competing in the national final at our flagship O’Neill’s Wardour Street at the end of August. Only one can be crowned the Sound of Summer champion and get their turn in the spotlight at a leading UK festival.
