Live And Unheard

Featuring Helena Mace, Marky Dawson, Edd Bleach

The monthly showcase for original music talent, Live & Unheard continues to thrive and returns with three more unsigned acts at Lighthouse, Poole’s centre for the arts, on Wednesday 5 June.

Helena Mace is a local singer-songwriter who is currently working on her third album having had tracks from her previous two releases played on BBC Radio and Sky TV. She was voted Global Artist of the Year and Song of the Year in Canada and picked up three nominations at the UK Country Radio Awards as well as Josie Award nomination in Nashville.

Live And Unheard

Marky Dawson grew up in Poole and started teaching himself piano at 14. By the age of 18, he was studying at the London College of Music and working as a resident musician in bars and clubs where he developed his energetic rock íní roll playing style. He is a charismatic showman with a huge voice and piano chops to make Jerry Lee Lewis blush!

Live And Unheard

Edd Bleach is a Weymouth-based singer/songwriter. Often accompanied by his good friend Ryan Barber, his stories about everyday life and unfortunate incidents are all packaged with his trademark sing-along melodies and are proving to be something that many people can relate to.

Hangover Hill are inviting bands and artists interested in performing to contact the studio at hangoverhill@gmail.com.

Live And Unheard

Live & Unheard will return on 3 July, but will take a break in August although there is a battle of the bands event on 1 August at the Cricketers Arms in Wimborne with a slot at stake on the bill for the Live & Unheard Christmas Special.
