Live & Unheard

Cherry Morris – Pharaohs
Cherry is a music artist from Bournemouth. Her luscious mix of rock, soul and pop come alive in her captivating sound. Cherry’s EP Just One Year was released in 2020. With powerful vocals, post-grunge, crunchy electric guitars and driving bass and drums, the EP’s message of love and loss resonates. Cherry and the band now go by the name Pharaohs, after spending the last year developing their sound. Catchy pop verse/choruses leading into progressive rock style instrumentals, this band is one to watch. The band is like a family; there’s Rob Plummer on bass and Natalie Betts on guitar- who are also real-life step-siblings. Cherry, our vocalist is best pals with Nat, and Chris Tybjerg on drums, who completes the close nit group. Pharaohs are currently working on an album that will be more evocative and heavier than ever.

Plastic Jeezus
Plastic Jeezus are Bournemouth-based duo, Simon (ukulele) and Aaron (bass) who have been bringing their unique brand of up-tempo wryness to the masses for the last few years. With original tunes that’ll get stuck in your head, rhythms that’ll make you want to dance and lyrics that’ll make you laugh out loud, Plastic Jeezus are guaranteed to bring a smile to audiences’ faces.
