This coming Sunday sees the first visit to these shores of those affable Punk/Poppers Kid Klumsy. Having shaken off the shackles of his previous band Dirt Box Disco; “Weab I Am” (vox) has reverted back to his original band Kid Klumsy who are in town to promote their latest EP, the affectionately titled “Fair Dooz”. This five-track offering comes hot on the heels of previous release ‘The Faces Don’t Fit’. Primarily a touring band this quartet can be seen travelling the length and breadth of the country to promote their music. And this ain’t no DBD offshoot – these guys mean business with their off-kilter, humourous Punk/Pop. Expect jolly japes, cutting one-liners, and a general sense of fun. Ok so I know it’s a school night, but when you were all tucked up during Lockdown you would’ve killed for nights like this! Support comes in the shape of local “legends” Meat Sweats, who will no doubt put you in the mood with their no-nonsense observations of life. Door Tax is unavailable to me, but go and chance your arm on two great bands and go to work Monday with a beaming smile on your face!
