The multi instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and producer Chris Payn follows up his latest batch of singles with a further offering. The new track is called “Scream”, a song that Chris recently showcased at his Teddy Rocks Festival full band appearance back at the beginning of May. The track showcases Chris’s flamboyance featuring influences from the likes of Prince, David Bowie and Meat Loaf. Chris has grown up surrounded by music, listening and watching these classic performers gave inspiration to be on stage performing. His live shows with a full band or solo, shows the privately quiet chap come alive with his bold euphoric showmanship, manifesting in a completely different alter ego that has become loved by an army of fans.

The new single “Scream” shows Chris once again putting on his performing mask and delivering a slice of pomp and splendour. With his own stringent quality control the single oozes infectious quality with both instrumentation and voice showing creative vitality. Imagine driving on a warm late Summer day with the window down, the breeze flowing and ‘Scream’ playing on the radio. The lyrics are cryptic enough to make you think, with a chorus hooky enough to grab you from the start. If you haven’t already takeN some time to check out the previous singles “Breakfast”, “Pow Pow Pow” and “Talk is Cheap” to get a handle of just what this significant artist is capable of, Chris and his band ‘The Parade’ are on tour in October and November.
