The Joiners Arms, Southampton It’s Thursday night & we’re here for a line-up of mainly Folk acts with a few surprises.
One of our faviourite bands round here is Bournemouth based hard rock outfit, MG and the Juggernaut, and they have released their latest track as free download. Nice.

The eponymously titled mini-album by the Mersyside quartet is due to hit the stores on the 7th January, and is well worth looking out for. They have a full bodied (is this a wine review???) rock sound that easily hits the pop/punk spot. This is a tremedous debut mini-album which is hard to put down.
The Levellers have just released the latest instalment of their project to record a video for every track from their recently released album, Static On The Airwaves.
When Pipes and Pints 2nd LP “Found and Lost” came into my hands I couldn’t wait to hear it. A band who fuse Punk/Rock/Folk and bagpipes no less – a format that on paper shouldn’t work, but quite simply does!
The Joiners, Southampton Darkness descends on the stage, as the much anticipated set is about to begin. The band pause – adding to the electric tension building up – before storming the arena as drums, bass and vocals connect to blaze out their classic hard rock anthems in front of the bouncing, packed out crowd.
Beartown Zodiac have a new free download on our Bandcamp site. The track has just been played on “BBC Introducing”, so they are giving away a free download of the track to celebrate.
Five Piece hard rock outfit “Kissed By Kate” from Poole in Dorset have just released a brand new single entitled “Letters From 792” with can be purchased and previewed from their Bandcamp page, the song costs just £1 with all the profits from the sale of the single going to the Help 4 Heroes charity.
