Recently awarded with an Original Music Award for best small band in Dorset, Raygo Bloom have just released their brand new Single “I Don’t Want To Lose a Finger”. The song was initially written when brothers Joe and Charlie were just jamming with a Bluesy riff. With no intentions of it being an eventual single release, Joe ended up recording a demo version to show the rest of the band for an extra gig song. As the band performed the song together as a full four-piece, they soon realised that they had a track worth releasing on their hands.

The song in a nutshell tells of a situation in a new relationship – “if I’m getting too close… don’t bite my hand off” explains Charlie. The track is a follow-up to the band’s last single “False Promises” and refreshingly for their fans the song’s could not be more different. The band once again show off their wondrous trademark harmonies, put to some clever instrumentation that sounds like a modern version of Status Quo – simple, easy to listen to and infectious.

The band have put a video together to accompany the track and have put a 50’s twist on it, looking like something Weezer could have produced. The quartet have smartened themselves up with white shirts and bow ties, performing in front of a stark white background. “I Don’t Want To Lose a Finger” is out now!!
