News: Houthouse Flowers Announce The Greatest Hits Tour
including date at Lighthouse in Poole
Lighthouse is delighted to announce Irish rock giants Hothouse Flowers will play the Theatre on Wednesday 18 November as part of their 2026 Greatest Hits tour.
With three Top 10 UK albums, including their debut album People (1988) which reached No. 1 in the Irish charts and No. 2 in the UK charts, Hothouse Flowers boast an iconic discography that includes Don’t Go, Give It Up and I Can See Clearly Now.
They followed up their successful debut album with two further Irish No. 1 albums – Home (1990) and Songs From the Rain (1993), before separating in 1994. They later reunited in 1998, releasing four more studio albums.
Jam-packed with hits from across their four decades of music-making, Hothouse Flowers’ Greatest Hits Tour will celebrate their unique blend of traditional Irish music, rock, soul and gospel.
A band that cut its teeth on the dancefloors of Dublin’s late-night clubs, Hothouse Flowers continue to bring a sense of adventure and improvisation to the stage, with no two shows ever the same.
Comprised of traditional musicians, Hothouse Flowers are carriers of culture, connecting the audience to stories of times past, setting them apart from other bands.
Their unpredictability allows them to take musical risks and become one with the audience, reaching new heights and depths in music each time they perform.
Priority booking opens for Lighthouse Friends only on Wednesday 4 March before going on general sale from Friday 6 March from here.
