Rolling some truly huge riffs out of the City of Bath, come the colossal doomsters Valfader. Their new EP Whispers Of Chaos is set to be released on the 25th of October and the four track offering is one almighty plunge into swirling dark rhythms, thundering riffs and towering vocals.
MG and the Juggernaut have been around the Bournemouth live scene for a few years now, cutting their teeth by playing shows in nearly all of the local venues to good reviews.
The Anvil, Bournemouth Welcome to the Anvil, good beer, good friends and bloody great music. Also the first ever show put on by Southern Doom Crew (find ’em on Facebook) was well underway when I arrived.
The 90’s Seattle Grunge scene spawned a thousand bands at the time, all vying for a piece of Nirvana’s global success. Most of them weren’t that good and burnt out quickly and as with any new genre, created four or five bands that were the scene’s bedrock sound.
