Grand Magus

Southampton Power Metallers Dendera were already on stage when we arrived. They are shit-hot good, belting out mighty riffs, a-la Iron Maiden and Dio. Outstanding vocals and killer guitars, makes them a band to watch out for.

Noah And The Whale have announced a series of live shows in the UK in the run-up to the release of their fourth album, Heart of Nowhere. The new dates, in Bournemouth, Warwick, Manchester and Hay-On-Wye, are in addition to the band’s previously announced “A Month Of Sundays” residency at London’s Palace Theatre, starting on April 28th.

Bournemouth rock band Western Sand popped into the Hope Fm studio to have a chat about their soon to be released 4 track EP, the EP was recorded over a hectic two week period in a studio in Wigan where the band were invited to record after supporting rock band Nazareth.

Half Hour Hotel have just released their new Double A-Side Single “Run From Sirens”. They are an English Indie rock band formed in Brighton in the Winter of 2011. The name derived from a farcical argument over many, many weeks trying to conjure up something that would fit. They all agree on the music; Big, full sound with a good melody.
