Bursting out of Southampton and Salisbury, with the desire to beat you over the head with their synths, is Hybrid 6.0. With the drum machine pushing out the beats they don’t plan on taking any prisoners, just leaving casualties. With their primary weapon their debut album “Silent Destruction”.

Ghostfest will take over Leeds University on 29 / 30 June 2013 with The Devil Wears Prada, The Acacia Strain, Veil of Maya plus many more!
Following last year’s 2700 capacity sellout weekend of mayhem, GHOSTFEST is back on 29 / 30 June 2013 and promises to raise the bar even further with even more big hitting names in metal and hardcore than ever before. The first of many huge band announcements is:

Western sand kicked off the evening with their high octane Southern Rock Boogie these guys are really honing their craft at the moment and the Joiners were digging the vibe they were putting out. Duelling guitars supported by a kickass rhythm section, rock ‘n roll ecstasy! This was probably the best Iíve seen them, looking forward to the Rock Regeneration 2nd Birthday gig which will see them support Voodoo Vegas.

After a bit of a rest from playing in the Bournemouth area The Frequency return to the Chaplin’s Cellar bar stage completely rejuvenated. The foursome take to the stage around 10:30pm (Conrad Time!!!) seeming really fired up and excited to be back. Lead singer, the now full bearded Austyn, promises a longs set with some new numbers to look forward to.

Fish Out Of Water are a fusion of some exciting talents brought together via music and friendship, some of the members have featured in other local bands before such as “ASP” and “The Blues Machine”. The band have been gigging for a couple of years now as an acoustic three piece performing gigs at local venues like the Bournemouth Folk Club, Thomas Trip in Christchurch and Chaplin’s Bar in Boscombe, they have recently bought in some new members including a bass player, drummer and percussionist to add to their 60’s folk inspired sound.

2nd March 2013Now plans for an indoor activity centre and zip wire for Bournemouth Pier Theatre have been refused and while lease holders Openwide International consider their options for the future! Local Ska and Reggae promoter Lewis Hawkins aka The Sound Of The Suburbs has seized the opportunity for an all day “2 TONE TASTER” as a pre run up to a three festival 26th ñ 28th July at Wilkswood Farm in the Purbecks.
