Having been a fan of Hayseed Dixie, when the mood grabs me, I was curious as to what form a solo album by “Barley Scotch” would take. With it’s sober brown cover, and a stance no doubt a little inspired by Grant Woods famous painting I wondered what lied within.

Bursting out of Southampton and Salisbury, with the desire to beat you over the head with their synths, is Hybrid 6.0. With the drum machine pushing out the beats they don’t plan on taking any prisoners, just leaving casualties. With their primary weapon their debut album “Silent Destruction”.

NOW. To grab peoples attention, most companies or businesses have a catchy slogan, to draw in people and keep them interested. With bands, it’s not so easy, they need to have a good name, one that doesn’t seem cliche and that also sounds provocative. Something that gets the people going.
