Old Fire Station, Bournemouth An unfeasibly early start means this reviewer arrives in good time and able to partake in a pre-gig meal at Subway.
The Anvil, Bournemouth Hell Yeah! I was waiting for this gig for ages, Texan Hard Rockers Honky returning to the Anvil. The chance to wear my battered straw cowboy hat out and not look too stupid, as the main band where wearing Stetsons. Plus it came in the middle of Movember so I had a […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Mr Kyps, Poole After a short hiatus Disco’s Out (Murders In) return to the live stage with a gig at Mr Kyp’s in Poole supporting the “Kast Off Kinks”.
Winchester Pub, Bournemouth It’s well known that a new album can significantly change the fortune of any band, and luckily Wille and The Bandits have reached a defining moment in their time as a band through third studio album “Grow”. The Winchester Pub, Bournemouth This Brother and Bones gig at The Winchester, Bournemouth is almost impossible to explain with words. It was absolutely incredible and an experience I will never forget.
Southampton Guildhall Three years after the reformation of one of Britpop’s shining stars, Suede finally release the new album that their fans have been longing for after a string of rehashed greatest hits packages designed to keep the band in everybody’s mind.
Southampton O2 Guildhall Released in 1987 The Cult’s “Electric” album was a complete change in direction for the band after the Goth/Rock style of “Love” and “Dreamtime”. The band had discovered America and along with Ian Astbury’s accent the whole style changed at this point forward to a more mainstream style of hard rock.
