Chaplin’s Cellar Bar, Boscombe Tonight in Chaplin’s Cellar Bar in Boscombe there is a radical change of direction from the usual indie and folk artists that you might usually expect to see here on a typical Thursday night, two very different sub genres of metal are about to go head to head.
The Brook, Souhampton Y&T bought their unique brand of classic rock back once again to the Brook on a rainy October evening. Opening the show were hard rock Merseyside outfit The Jokers.

On the Rocks, Bournemouth Day One Featuring: Electromud C-30’s The Mistakes Black Water Country On a rainy night in Bournemouth a few brave souls are here for what is billed as a Punk Night for Macmillan Cancer Charities.
Inferno, Bournemouth It’s Saturday night,its still warm for the time of year and the Inferno is still largely empty when first act Liability take to the “stage”. This band start the evening off nicely with a mix of covers and originals.
Talking Heads, Southampton Firewind , Southampton’s own Dendera, open proceedings and they have progressed immeasurably since I last saw them. The Iron Maiden influence still looms large over their song writing but there is an originality to be found in their set. Good stuff.
Kings Park, Bournemouth The non profit festival has been running successfully for 17 years giving everybody in the local area that chance to kick back and enjoy some late autumn sunshine along with a host of great local bands, the incident caused by one very inconsiderate individual spoilt what was otherwise a perfect weekend.
