Mr Kyps, Poole On a balmy night in April we welcome back Manchester Skacore exponents Sonic Boom Six, but first up are 2 local supports.
Mr Kyps, Poole It’s Friday,it’s still freezing and it’s a trip down memory lane for those of us who have nearly filled Mr. Kyps tonight. For our entertainment is none other than 80’s singer/songwriter/actress Hazel O’connor.
Swingin Utters have a new LP out titled “Poorly Formed”, which is anything but!
Mr Kyps, Poole With a guestlist of some 163 and a stellar line-up of bands this is gonna be some Birthday for a certain Mr Bert Burnell musical director here at Mr Kyps.
The Brook, Southampton You know Spring is in the air when Stiff Little Fingers are embarking on the now trademark March leg of their tour. Due to a late support act cancellation, Woking’s The Brompton Mix have stepped in at short notice-managed by none other than Jam legend Rick Buckler!
When Burton on Trent’s finest Dirtbox Disco released their debut LP “Legends” they set the bar very high with arguably the best British Punk record for years. Well, they’re back with new LP “People Are Made Of Paper”.
Old Fire Station, Bournemouth On a freezing Sunday night we are out to witness the re-scheduled last date on the current tour by Coventry’s finest The Enemy.
The Cellar, Southampton On a freezing Wednesday evening we head for Southampton to catch my current favourite band Nine Black Alps supporting American Rockers “And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead”.
Brighton 3 piece Ragweed have a new EP in the offing which opens with a number called “Mind Bottling”, which displays some Therapy-esque guitar and drums.
