Following a debut release which boasted promise in it’s material, but severely lacked the studio quality to shine through, Bournemouth based metalcore outfit, Griever have completely turned the world on it’s head through their new EP “Rebirthing”.
Coming out of Penrith, Cumbria like a rocket, Metal upstarts Die No More have crafted a little cracker of an EP here. Good solid riffs and rhythms make this a very enjoyable listen.
Hailing from Norway and sounding like a cross between The Sword and Pink Floyd, Spirits of the Dead have hit on a formula to make people sit up and take notice.
Outlandish midlanders Max Raptor have carved their names deeper and deeper into the UK rock scene over the last few years, following a largely successful release of debut release “Portraits”. Just like their first record, sophomore release “Mother’s Ruin” bleeds authentic punk induced energy and hearty grit like a mighty British bull dog on heat.
Mixing up synths and guitars my first thought was that I was listening to something from wayback, a different time. That slight echo on the vocals. These 4 Essex boys have their own brand of “punktronica”.
Bursting out of Essex comes Bleak Falls with their latest EP “The Grass Gets No Greener” with a 5 track melodic hardcore onslaught due for release later this month.
Want some Blues-fuelled hard Rock? Then look no further and head over to Gloucester, as these guys have nailed it with their blues groove.
No holds barred Punk Rock ‘n’ Roll from this London based 5 piece hits the mark when you need that energy boost post storm! Gotta love British weather, but not as much as British music…
Usually I use the word “Onslaught”, and it is usually in relation to one of the senses – hearing! These guys take that one step further and then another step.
All the way from the West Coast of the Good ol’ US of A comes this slab of Punk-fuelled Rockabilly.
