Following a debut release which boasted promise in it’s material, but severely lacked the studio quality to shine through, Bournemouth based metalcore outfit, Griever have completely turned the world on it’s head through their new EP “Rebirthing”.
Outlandish midlanders Max Raptor have carved their names deeper and deeper into the UK rock scene over the last few years, following a largely successful release of debut release “Portraits”. Just like their first record, sophomore release “Mother’s Ruin” bleeds authentic punk induced energy and hearty grit like a mighty British bull dog on heat.
Winchester Pub, Bournemouth It’s well known that a new album can significantly change the fortune of any band, and luckily Wille and The Bandits have reached a defining moment in their time as a band through third studio album “Grow”. They have spent years promoting their previous two records, “New Breed” and “Breakfree” across Europe […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
The Maze, Nottingham As we enter October, the same old depressing, dreary weather emerges from our miraculous Summer. Our only way to briefly avoid this sorry mishap is simple though; find yourself a sweaty venue and a line-up brimming with energy and hibernate there for a few hours. My first visit to The Maze won’t […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Roots music is quite simply a genre which is impossible to define. However, over the last few years, Wille and the Bandits have put a serious stake in their claim to be a defining element to this genres mystery, through their blinding live performances across Europe and releasing three top class albums. Following touring with […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Over the past four years or so, Pump Action Radio have slowly built their way into the public eye following two EP releases and countless support slots for virtually every touring band who has visited Bournemouth. After releasing title track “Cheating Perfection” as their lead single off the new EP, it was clear that this […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
A couple of years ago, Saint The Sinner released an EP named “Da Vinci’s Demise” which saw the band instantly gain an armada of passionate supporters craving material from the South Coast outfit. Despite only playing a surprisingly small amount of live performances in their first year as a band, they still managed to support […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
The Sound Circus, Bournemouth Following largely successful years so far, both LostAlone and Fearless Vampire Killers ventured across the coastline of the UK to showcase their critically acclaimed live shows to the seaside towns of Plymouth, Margate, Brighton and Bournemouth for a co-headline “Seaside Rendezvous Tour”. Whilst LostAlone have shared the same tour bill as […] ↓ Read the rest of this entry…
Lower Lands are four lads from Lincoln who are making waves with the release of their new EP “Canvas”, as they surge through the boundaries of alternative rock. After big names such as Rock Sound and Big Cheese magazine gave bright reviews to the band, their future seems promising and bigger stages surely await them.
After hearing The Super Happy Fun Club’s debut effort “Go Fun Yourself”, I immediately predicted sensational forthcomings for the quirkily named Chicago rock outfit. Their distinct, whiskey fuelled take on rock n roll has helped this band take the UK press by storm and earned them a tour support slot for Madina Lake.
