Many years ago the local Arthouse/Venue used to put on rock and metal gigs every summer, and I got to see some great acts. One of those I saw a few times was the Little Angels. Christchurch band Powdered Cows have their own brand of Indie Pop, a unique one at that.
Somewhere in the deepest darkest parts of North Wales you will find Phillip Foxley beavering away, crafting some top notch blues rock.
With a distorted fuzz sound; heavy guitars and more than a dab of blues, we have some superb textured guitar work that leaves feeling you have just come from the States-not the Northern parts of Europe.
All the way from Florida (yes Chinners, I know it is not local, but we have been to Florida!) comes Aviators with what I can only define as “refined Pop”, with hints of Electronica and Dance, but with lyrics worth listening to.
Sticking with the number based naming strategy this American trio have unleashed their fourth opus onto the world.
Now we pride ourselves on trying out of a variety of music here at Rock Regen Towers. So this might be the first time we have covered something that might be described as House/Dance.
Candy Cavalry are evolving. Growing.
Hailing from Andover come KURBd with their 3 track that is brimming with raw energy, and an edgy feel.
